Scope

CMT Konsult AB ("CMT", "we", "us", "our") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy by handling all information securely and with care in accordance with the GDPR act, as well as other data protection laws that are in Sweden, Europe and its member states. The GDPR regulate the manner in which personal information is handled, from collection to use and disclosure, storage, accessibility and disposal. 

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, uses and discloses your information.

 

PURPOSES FOR COLLECTING INFORMATION

We collect personal information which is necessary to do business with you.

We may use your personal or business information and information you have supplied for purposes including to:

  • identify you as the User and to provide better client service to you, your business partners and your employees
  • perform financial transactions with you and your associated service providers
  • operate our business as it applies to you
  • keep you informed about our products and services and those of relevant business partners
  • protect our lawful interests; and fulfil legal and regulatory obligations with our third-party service suppliers and vendors as well as law agencies

 

How we use and disclose your information

We use and disclose the your personal information in the manor that is deemed necessary to do business with you. These things are, but may not be limited to:

 

Contact phone/email

After filling out the contact form, or sending us a regular email, we will use the information provided to get back to you. We may also use the information to contact you at a later stage, if there would be something else to discuss.
All communications are done 1-1, meaning that one of our representatives will lift the phone or compose an email directly to you.

 

Newsletter

After opting in to our newsletters, we will use the information (email, firstname) to provide you with our newsletter. We also collect Company in this process, which is used for meta-information, like knowing approximately how many professionals vs individuals we have in our subscriber list, or estimating an approximate geographical spread of our subscribers.
Your last name is used to identify you, for example in manual opt-out or similar situations where the technical tools may not apply.

 

User information

When setting up a user account to access products and services, you must provide contact information (such as name, email address, phone number and other information as required). In some cases financial information (such as a credit card number and expiration date if you are using this payment method). We use this information to fulfil your order and services towards you, and billing you for the same.

 

Customer support

In the event we need to reach you related to usage of the product or reacting to a support ticket, we may use the information provided.

 

Aggregated data / Meta data

Aggregated data that contains no information specific to a particular individual or business, and may be shared with our business partners, for example, aggregated statistical trends in a particular industry sector.

 

Disclosure to third parties

We may provide your personal information to our related bodies corporate and our service providers who assist us with client contact, archiving, auditing, accounting, legal, business consulting, banking, delivery, data processing, automated communications, and website or technology services. Any provider working with us has a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) signed with us.
Some of the third parties described above (including our service providers) may be located outside of Sweden. You acknowledge that while these parties will often be subject to other confidentiality or privacy obligations, they may not in all cases be subject to the specific requirements of Swedish or European privacy laws.
We may use Personal Information for service-related purposes.
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, facilitate court proceedings or to protect our rights.

 

Storage of personal information

Contact form & Email

By using the contact form, an email is sent to the relevant authorized person to receive and handle it.
We use Microsoft Office 365 as our mailing provider, so by using the contact form, your information is sent to Microsoft servers on Ireland.

 

Newsletter

We use MailChimp as our newsletter provider. By registering to our newsletter, your information is sent to MailChimps servers in USA.

 

Product

Our product are hosted on a datacenter near Stockholm in Sweden.

 

Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are downloaded to your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies to enable us to monitor traffic patterns and to serve you more efficiently. A cookie does not identify you personally but it does identify your computer. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie. This will provide you with an opportunity to either accept or reject it in each instance. Our website will not use cookies until such time as you indicate your acceptance. Umbraco

Umbraco CMS is a Content Management System. It set a few cookies to validate the integrity of a user (actual person, vs a bot), to prevent misuse of our forms. The cookies set by Umbraco are considered Necessary to run the site.
Disabling these cookies will lead to forms not submitting as intended, or other limitations on the website.

 

Deletion & Retention of data

Your data belong to you, and you have the right to chose what to do with it.
If you wish for your data to:

  • be destroyed; or
  • be de-identified; or
  • a copy to be provided to you.

you can send us an email and we will handle the request appropriately.
In some cases, such as when you have an active subscription to our service, or we need to keep your information to comply with our legal obligations to tax authorities or other institutions, deletion or de-identification may not be possible immediately.

When your personal information has been stored long enough to not be relevant to keep them, they will be removed or de-identified automatically.
